Starting from July 1, 2016, all electrical and electronic products being imported into China must comply with the limits of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDs) set out in the China RoHS and the Declaration and Labelling Requirements of China RoHS in order to continue exporting to China. If the product and parts containing the restricted substances exceed the limits, it can still be sold in China with the correct label.
