Who We Are?
Creator Counsel aims to help online content creators better understand the legal implications of their work by explaining the law using simple language and providing easy-to-use document automation technology to help creators draft commonly used legal documents.
Creator Counsel is run by a group of Law, Design, and FIntech students at The University of Hong Kong. The website provides legal information, however, does not provide legal advice. Creators should consult legal professionals if they need further assistance with their legal issues.
What we can help with?
Creator Counsel provides legal information on mods, digital art, and memes. We help creators understand their legal position on widely used platforms such as Nexus Mods, Pinterest, Deviant Art, and provide creators with some basic knowledge of intellectual property law. Although we don’t cover every content-sharing platform, Creator Counsel aims to equip creators with the ability to understand their legal rights on whatever platform they use.
